Questions
How often is the list updated?
Every six hours, at about 00:17, 06:17, 12:17, and 18:17 UTC. Each update reads fresh star counts from the GitHub API and redeploys this page a few minutes later.
How are the repositories chosen?
For each of 16 AI topics on GitHub, the update takes the 50 most-starred public repositories, merges them, drops forks and archived repositories, and keeps the 25 with the most stars.
Why is a well-known AI project missing?
A repository appears only if it carries one of the AI topics listed below on GitHub and has enough stars to make the top 25. A few popular projects that carry AI topics without being AI projects are left out by hand.
Can I use the data?
Yes. The current list is at https://aistars.agntwrk.com/repos.json and a plain-text version for AI assistants is at https://aistars.agntwrk.com/llms.txt. Both update with the page.
Topics searched: artificial-intelligence, ai, machine-learning, deep-learning, llm, large-language-models, generative-ai, ai-agents, agentic-ai, rag, chatgpt, claude-code, mcp, transformers, stable-diffusion, computer-vision.
